What time does the RFB In Milwaukee on Nov. 3 start? I found the one in Evanston on the 2nd, but the show in Milwaukee doesn’t give a time. I live right inbetween the two towns so I’m going to treat myself to a good time and some good tunes!

The Gang wants Buffalo Springfield to play (in order of preference): 1) Radio City Music Hall 2) Carnegie Hall 3) Beacon Theater. If you play any of these three The Gang will be happy. Any time between October 1 and the end of the year will be fine.

Hi Greg,

Appreciated your comment re none of the music produced since compares with the sounds of the sixties. I agree with that. Good to see folk like Richie, Barry McGuire, John York and Cliff Richard and the Shadows still getting out to tour as is practicable. Keep on enjoying Richie’s music.

I recall seeing one of Richie’s interviews on youtube where he made the comment that the Buffalo Springfield had thought at the time they were together in the past that the only real competition they had was the Beatles…that they really thought they were that good. Well, in my honest opinion, they were that good!

Richie,

I saw Poco in San Francisco when I was stationed at Fort Ord, California in 1973 and have been a fan ever since. I lost interest (somewhat) after you left the group but I have always remembered that awesome concert! In April, 2009, my wife and I took our 21 year old son to see Poco in Arroyo Grande, California at an intimate little place called The Clark Center and it brought back a flood of memories.

When I saw that Buffalo Springfield was playing in Santa Barbara, I decided it would be my Father’s Day gift for the three of us to attend. We were there for the first show and we were not disappointed. We had seen CSN at Avila Beach but I have always been a fan of Neil Young and had never seen him perform. I always pictured him as being dark and introspective. I never realized what a comedian he is! Stephen turned out to be the more taciturn.

Thanks for all the memories and don’t ever stop. You still have a great talent.

Am still glowing after seeing you Wednesday night at the Santa Barbara County Bowl !! I was (literally) moved to tears with “Sad Memory” Never got to see you with Buffalo Springfield, but one of my all-time favorite concerts was Poco at the Santa Monica Civic (2 nights in a row).

Anyway, I am anxiously awaiting word of Buffalo Springfield’s dates at the end of summer and will (hopefully) see you again.

In the meantime, really want to buy some BS t-shirts, but need them in Men’s
Large (which are not available, I’m guessing out of stock)

Thank you again for (unknowingly) being a huge part of my life, and iPod
(Springfield, Poco and SHF) – I’ve been lucky enough to see Hillman and
Souther at McCabes in Santa Monica too (my favorite place ever)
