The Buffalo Springfield Rides Again
Looks like many of the fans who keep asking for the Buffalo Springfield to come to a city near them may just get their wish. The dates have not been published as of yet but there are plans in the works for a tour of somewhere near 30 shows starting at the end of the summer.
The first shows of the initial warm-up tour were earlier this week in Oakland and the band goes on tonight in LA for the first of two shows, followed by two in Santa Barbara. This initial historic tour closes out next weekend at Bonnaroo.
Look for tickets and plan ahead for a full tour starting in September.

thanks-Chera
I hope that I am lucky enough to see one of the shows.
Well you’re all in for a great time.
Just got back from Santa Barbara (JUN 7 show) and thoroughly enjoyed the magnificence that is Buffalo Springfield.
SO SURREAL hearing those ‘Buff Riffs’ LIVE.
please !! please!!! come home to colorado and play at red rocks!!
Was at Santa Barbara show 6/7/11. Richie your voice was unbelievable–clear and strong. The show itself was magical in that it wasn’t simply nostalgic, it literally left me with the spirit of a 60s experience. Perhaps this was in part due the many getting high around me, being in SB, whatever…it was really the show not to miss. Thanks for doing it, and PLEASE if recordings of the show are made avail. let us know. Love to all, RW
Please come to TEXAS! We love ya!
We’ll be seeing you here in Denver at the Bluebird, so incredibly stoked, love your brilliant influence with Buffalo Springfield and Poco, but not very religious, hope that’s not an issue. I, we, love music and its transcesdental power, maybe that counts for something.
I would have gone to Bonnaroo but I am over the festivals but the word is out that Buffalo Springfield was the best act there! This is the music for those of us from the 60′s that makes us feel young again, so I am going to a fall concert – somewhere!
On a side note to all reading, we now have our own children in their 20′s enjoying the music we loved at that age – unfortunately, a 24 year old young man from Charlotte died at Bonnaroo from heat stroke this year. If you play Charlotte, please sing a song for him.
This is something I’ve been waiting on for the better part of 30 years when I first was introduced to this band. New York would be awesome!! Doesn’t matter though where they play… I’ll be there.
Richie, Steven & Neil!!! Long may you run~! & thank you for your contributions. God bless..
