Some sad news reached me today. A few days ago Jack Richardson passed away, he was 81 years old. I really enjoyed working with Jack. Not only was Jack one of the most talented record producers ever, he was also one of the nicest men you would ever meet. We had many great sessions together, some of my most memorable times in the studio. He was a professional who knew how to have fun in the studio while never forgetting the reason we were there.
In my opinion, what he and his partner Bob Ezrin did with Crazy Eyes was nothing short of brilliant. It was a pleasure to meet, know and work with Jack.
